Following in the tradition of artists painting where they sleep I visited Les Roches Rouges in Saint-Raphaël, S. France lto collaborate with fellow artists Rosie McGuiness and Cecilia Carlstedt on two murals within the hotel. The hotel is beautifully minimal sitting on a hill overlooking the sea. We painted in two spaces, one within the central area of the hotel and the other in La Terrasse, their Michelin starred restaurant. The main wall is 10.5 metres long and we worked on a composition beforehand. Together we painted against blue sky and brilliant sunshine.
